Nexus Insurance

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Notice: This document is a working draft that will be reviewed by a licensed attorney before the production cutover. The substance below describes the relationship between you and Nexus Insurance accurately.

1. Who we are

Nexus Insurance is a marketing service that connects US residents with US-licensed insurance agents in their state. We are not an insurance company. We do not sell or issue policies. The licensed agents we partner with assist consumers with shopping, comparing, and enrolling in plans available through the federal and state Health Insurance Marketplaces.

2. The service we provide

We provide free, no-obligation assistance with:

  • Comparing ACA Marketplace plans across the carriers we are appointed with in your state.
  • Estimating premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions based on the information you provide.
  • Submitting your application to HealthCare.gov or a state Marketplace when you authorize us.
  • Answering coverage questions throughout the plan year and assisting with renewals.

We are compensated by insurance carriers when you enroll in a plan through us. You do not pay us directly for our help.

3. What we are not

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. We do not diagnose, treat, or guarantee any outcome. Quotes shown or discussed are estimates; the binding offer comes from the carrier. Subsidy amounts are estimates based on information you provide; the final amount is determined by HealthCare.gov or your state Marketplace.

4. Your representations

When you use our forms, calls, or messaging, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the lawful guardian acting on behalf of a minor or dependent), that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have authority to share that information with us.

5. Acceptable use

Use the site for its intended purpose: learning about ACA coverage and getting help from licensed agents. Do not scrape, attack, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.

6. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, and code are owned by Nexus Insurance or our licensors. You may share and link to public pages, but you may not republish, sell, or otherwise commercialize them without permission.

7. Third-party services

Links to HealthCare.gov, CMS, KFF, NILC, and other authoritative sources are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content of those sites.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

We provide the site and our assistance on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Information about plans, premiums, and subsidies may change without notice. The carrier's policy contract governs the actual coverage you receive.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Insurance will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our service, email contact@mynexusinsurance.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with your state's department of insurance.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in a notice on this page.
